Zbigniew "Ziggy" Iskra

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Zbigniew "Ziggy" Iskra on May 3, 2017. He passed away suddenly at the age of 68. We bid a tearful farewell to our loving husband, father and friend. Zbigniew was born on July 23, 1948 in Czestochowa, Poland and immigrated with his wife to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1982. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Teresa, 2 sons Peter (Amber) and Paul, his brothers Jerry (Barbara) and Eligiusz (Ewa), his nephews Olek and Brian, his dearest granddaughter Ellie and numerous friends and family in Canada and Poland.

This news has also come as a shock to me. I would like to send my deepest condolences to you Ciocia Teresa, Paul and Peter and your friends and family. I will keep you all in my prayers. I pray that Ziggy’s soul may rest in peace. His memory will always remain with us in our hearts. He was such a kind, loving man who always had some joke to share with anyone nearby. He will be greatly missed.
