William (Roy) Wittrup
In the early morning of July 1, 2024, William (Roy) Wittrup, 81, of Edmonton Alberta, passed away at the Capital Care Gene Zwozdesky Norwood (hospice), after a 4 month stay at the Sturgeon General Hospital.
Roy is survived by his loving family; daughter and primary caregiver, Christine, daughter Kim and family, sister Marianne and family, brother Rick and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Marguerite, son Terry, and other relatives and friends.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the entire staff of Station 28 at the Sturgeon General Hospital for their care and compassion these past months, and to the caring staff at Capital Care Norwood during his final days.
I express my deepest sympathy. The Bible promises that your loved one will come to life again on a beautiful paradise earth when there will be no more death in John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4.
