Wilfred Howarth
April 3, 1930 - November 16, 2024
Cowboy, Poet, Troubadour, Lover, Friend, Dreamer, Mentor, Father and Grandfather.
Long a witness to triumph and tragedy, he was born into innocence April 3, 1930 and rode off into the sunset November 16, 2024.
Wilf faced his final challenge with the same courage, strength and humour that defined the way he lived.
Living long means being predeceased by family and friends that far outnumber those of us that remain.
Losing Wilf is a reminder of our own mortality and a call to those that cherish his memory to live a life of adventures and dreams.
There will be a Celebration of Wilfred's Life, Saturday November 30th, 2024, at 11 AM to 2 PM at the Sri Lanka Canada Friendship Association, Cedars Professional Park, 2913 – 66 St NW Edmonton, AB
To Joyce and family I send my sincere condolences! I am sure that Murray, John and Wilf, and all those who have gone before us, are together having a lively conversation with much laughter. Sending prayers for peace and comfort at this time of immense sorrow.
Thank you for kind words Kerry,
I miss him so much, not sure how I’ll get through this. At the same time like you said those that left us are having a lively conversation, playing music etc.
Thank you again.
Love, Joyce
