It is with heavy hearts that Wayne’s family announces his passing on January 18, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with COPD and cancer.

Wayne will be forever missed by his wife Shirley, sons Lawrence Steinke, Robert Steinke (Tawnia), Dale Steinke (Theresa), his step children, John (Natasha) Rudyk and Candice (Jeff) Matter as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wayne is survived by siblings: Bob Steinke (Karen), Marlene Carrell (Wade), Cheryl Durgan (Jack), Darryl Steinke (Maryann) , Patrick Steinke (Linda) Sister- in-Law Marlene Steinke as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews.

Wayne was predeceased by his mother Winnifred (Craig) Steinke, his father Wallace Steinke, brother Stanley Steinke.

Wayne’s celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
