It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Henry Jones, a beloved father, brother, and grandfather. He was born in Beaverlodge, Alberta on January 21, 1949.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through his four children: Ryan (Susanne) Jones of Peace River, AB, Colleen (Kelvin) Dollmont of Edmonton, AB, Karen (Ryan) Dalgetty of Grande Prairie, AB, and Stephanie Jones of Edmonton, AB. Thomas was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren: Seth, Joshua, Taylor, Isaiah, Liam, Jordis, Aiden and Theoren. He also leaves behind 3 siblings. Thomas was predeceased by his parents Leonard & Margaret, eight siblings, Grandson Shawn and Granddaughter Elizabeth.

Tom was a man of many passions. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life such as reading, woodworking and drawing. He had a particular fondness for Western novels, often losing himself in tales of the Old West. His collection of Westerns was extensive, and he could often be found with a book in hand.

Toms’ craftsmanship was admired by many, and his creations will continue to be treasured by those who knew him.

Thomas had a deep love for hunting and fishing. He spent countless hours exploring the great outdoors, finding peace and joy in the thrill of the hunt and beauty of nature. His appreciation for wildlife was evident in the way he respected and understood the natural world.

His warmth, wit, and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Thomas’s memory will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, his extended family, and his friends. He was a man who made the world a better place with his presence.
