The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at St. Michaels Long Term Care in Edmonton for the loving and compassionate care mom received in her final years.

  1. We were saddened to hear of your Mother’s passing. Therese was a lovely lady. I (Dan) remember nice visits to your home when you all lived on the Trail. Your Mom always graciously welcomed me into your home. Linda and I visited with here whenever the Retired Teachers Choir sang at the seniors residence on McKinney Ave. Memories we both will carry with us. Love to all the family.

  2. Our condolence of the passing of your mother. You have our deepest sympathy and unwavering support. Our hearts goes out to Aunt Terry’s Family Rose Anne, Richard, Rita, Robert and all of her Family during this difficult time. Wishing you the best and know we are with you during this time of sorrow.

  3. Our sincere condolences to the family on the passing of your Mom. Therese was a kind, lovely lady. She was generous in sharing her friendship and time with our parents throughout their lives. Both Therese and Gerry were instrumental in helping our parents, not only survive, but to thrive in St. Albert during their early married lives. We will forever be grateful for Therese and Gerry’s love, friendship and support to our family. May happy memories help all of you throughout this difficult time.

  4. My sincere sympathies on the passing of Therese. My memories of her go back to being a young, only child of Claire (Prefontaine) Demers and feeling the love, laughter and comfort of her home. So, on my first day of school, when one of her children (& I can’t recall who it was), suggested that I go play at their house after school, I did – much to the chagrin of my mother who was standing at the bus stop waiting for me to come off the yellow school bus. I still don’t know how my mom & eventually my dad who came home from work at Revelstoke, found me. But Therese kept me safe, comfortable, and fed me snacks and dinner – not a word of reprimand on her lips. I have always remembered her care and kindness, then and the many other times I visited her with my mom. May you too, have the positive memories of your mom, mom-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother that I have.
