Stella Marguerite Dumas
On Tuesday August 15, 2023, Stella Marguerite Dumas of Edmonton (born in Grande Prairie) passed away at the age of 80 years.
Stella was predeceased by her partner Wayne Wilfred Loyer just one year prior on August 18, 2022, and by her parents Francis and Mary, brothers Conrad and Edward and her sister Theresa.
Stella will be lovingly remembered by her 5 children Bill (Sherry), Bonnie (Stan), Dave (Caroline), Laura (Tim) and Richard (Léonie), her 7 grandchildren Ashley, Brandyn, Chantelle, Chelsea, Darcy, Juan, Olivia and 2 great grandchildren Milani and Romero. Stella will be grieved by her surviving siblings Beatrice (Lorne), Jeannine (John), Lena (Bill), Robert (Carol), Sheila (Tom), and Stephen (Jackie).
Stella was deeply loved by her whole family, and adopted as a mother figure by a multitude of others - her passing leaves a significant hole in the hearts of many.
Stella's memorial will take place at:
Lac Ste Anne Catholic Church
3510 Ste Anne Trail, Alberta Beach, AB
Wednesday, August 30 @ 11 AM
Family will host a small reception following memorial service.

Not sure what this world looks like without you mom. I will start and end every day thinking of you. I know you are without pain now though, and I will take some comfort in that. Thank you for the person I am, and love you forever.
