Stacie Eileen Welch

Stacie Eileen Welch lived a life full of love, resilience, and devotion to those she held dear. On March 17, 2025, she passed after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who loved her deeply.

For 44 years, Stacie walked through life with her beloved husband, Richard Welch, by her side. Together, they built a family, a home, and a lifetime of memories filled with love and laughter.

Her greatest joy was being a mother to her three sons; Shaughn Mulholland (Melody), Ben Mulholland (Danielle), Pete Welch (Chelley),

Stacie found deep happiness in her role as a grandmother, treasuring each moment spent with her grandchildren Nicolas Lawson, Beth Rawles, Kya Mulholland, Alayna Mulholland, Hailey Mulholland, Zakk Welch, Chaylane Abbott, Brandea Abbott, Ashlynn Abbott and great grandson Carter.

She had a special love for animals, especially her pups Trixie and Betty, who were her constant companions and brought her endless joy.

She is survived by her loving siblings Deborah Hardwick (Bob), Terry Hardwick (Dale), Chris Hardwick (Cathy), Connie Schwartz, David (Zondra). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Stacie was predeceased by her father, Clifford Hardwick and mother Joyce Geraghty (and husband Tom), as well as her dear sister, Holly Wahba.

A celebration of Stacie’s life will be held on April 4, 2025, at Trinity Funeral Home 10530 116 Street, Edmonton at 1:00 – 3:00 pm.

Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the remarkable woman she was.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of choice in Stacie’s memory.

Though she may no longer walk among us, her love remains—woven into the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.
