This is very sad news. My condolences to the family. I knew Silverio when I was young in Little Italy. I have many fond memories of those days.
I was really sorry to see this. We went to st joes high school together. I remember him fondly! He had such a great sense of humour. He could lift anybody’s spirit. He made high school fun. We did some dancing at school functions.
Rest in peace dear fellow!

I have felt so much sorrow since I heard about Sly. I grew very close to him in the two months at the hospital. He faced such a tough challenge and the greatest was not being able to se his family. We spoke often about you all and the greatest was the love he had for his boys. He was fighting every day for that. I have never experienced the love Sly had with his boys. Not one day went by he didn’t say “ I love you “ when he could. I hope you all know how he fought and how much he loved. He was the most kind hearted man. He will always hold a place in my heart, sending prayers and hugs to you all take care Jake you are such a big part of him,
On behalf of my late husband, Giuliano (Jiulian), and our family, we share your sorrow and pray that strength and comfort are bestowed upon your family and friends … gone but never forgotten… Amen.
Such sad news I will miss his happiness, always smiling. Condolences to the family
We are so sad in hearing about Silverio‘s passing, your dear son, father, brother and uncle. We were neighbors for many years. We remember Silverio always smiling, joking, laughing, a kind soul. He would always be bringing fixer upper cars home to fix and put together. Always entertaining to watch, Silverio would wonder how he had extra bolts, but would joke about it and laugh. We will never forget his warm smile and kind heart. Please accept our condolences and may our prayers help comfort you. May the Lord Bless him, may he rest in peace. God bless your family during this difficult time.
Your old neighbors Antonio,Idalina,Maria,John, Susan,Christine (Costa Family)
