Shun Man Kwong
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Shun Man Kwong, on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Grey Nuns hospital. We thank God that his last days on earth were spent pain free with the family.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 53 years, Nancy; his daughter Shelley (William Kaulbach); his grandchildren, Charles Hamilton, Keegan Kwong and Mckinlee Kaulbach; and his daughter, Treena (Edward Kaulbach); his grandchildren, Taylor, Alex and Emma Kaulbach. He also leaves to mourn his two sisters, Betty (Ken) Mah and Susan (Danny) Woo; his brothers, Tak (Millie) Kwong, and Raymond Kwong, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Howard.
Over the years, Shun volunteered with the Chinese United Church, Chinese Seniors Lodge, and Special Olympics. He loved cheering on his grandchildren during their events and activities, supporting The Edmonton Football team, The Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Blue Jays.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honour Shun’s memory by donating to the Cross Cancer Institute (https://www.albertacancer.ca/donate/)
Due to covid restrictions, a private service will be held.
Please contact the family if you wish to receive the memorial slideshow.
