Love and prayers. Shirley was an amazing person a wonderful friend and I will miss her dearly. I hope the memories you have hold you close at heart.
I cherished Shirley’s friendship from the early 90’s when the bus broke down and left us stranded on the side of the road so we introduced ourselves and from there followed many years of riding the bus together, lunches, emails, phone calls, picture sharing as we married off the four daughters between us and welcomed 8 grandchildren and finally to the special gift of the last couple of years. Shirley will be missed terribly. Dave, Amanda, Russ, Logan and Emellia you are all in my heart and prayers. I am so very sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss. Hugs, love and prayers sent to you all. Deepest sympathy
My condolences to all of Shirley’s family. She will be missed deeply.
I just reunited with SHIRLEY the last few years in Arizona and she was such a joy to be with.
Dave I know your heart is broken right now. We are all very saddened to hear of SHIRLEYs passing.
My prayers and thoughts go out to you.
Dave and family. So very sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. Our thoughts are with you at this time
Our deepest sympathy, love and prayers for you, Dave and Amanda, as you say goodbye to your well loved wife and mom today. We pray for comfort for all of you, Russ, Logan and Emellia as well, as you go on without her. We hope that your happy memories of Shirley will help to ease the pain you feel right now, and that the love she had for you will remain with you. May God hold you close during this time.
Dave, my deepest sympathy for your loss. I was devastated to learn of Shirley’s passing. We had coffee this past summer and shared our memories of Service Canada staff that we both knew. She brightened everyone’s life who knew her. She was so smart and so kind. How she will be missed!
I worked with Shirley for many years when she was in Communications with Service Canada. She was a great colleague who always had time to talk and to share her experiences with government and graphics with new folks. I have thought of her often since she retired from the department. She shared her adventurous plans of traveling with her husband Dave and spending time with her daughter, Amanda, before she left the department. Her eyes always shined brighter when she was speaking of her family and you could hear the love in her voice as she spoke about all the small towns they were going to visit. Our paths crossed a couple of times through the years and we connected through Facebook – I loved seeing updates on what she was doing. I wish her family the most sincerest condolence and I hope that you are finding comfort in the memories and in each other.
