Sheila Hill
1924 – 2019
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Sheila at the South Terrace Continuing Care Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she resided for 35 years before the family moved to the Okanagan and then to Alberta. Sheila was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 2012 and her sisters, Stella McCracken of Nanaimo, B.C. in 1997, Ann Coles of Burnaby, B.C. in 2017. Sheila is lovingly remembered by her three children: Susan Whittington of Edmonton, AB, Beverly (Gerry) Linterman of Calgary, AB and David (Beverly) Hill of Calgary, AB and her granddaughter, Lisa Whittington-Hill of Toronto, ON, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Sheila will forever be remembered for her kind, loving and gentle manners. Special thanks to all the staff at South Terrace for their patience and care during Sheila’s residency. Cremation has taken place.
At Sheila’s request, a service will not be held.
In lieu of floral tributes donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, #150, 9405 – 172 Street, Edmonton, AB T6B 2T4 or to a charity of your choice.

Now her long struggle is over and she is reunited with Raymond.
