Sharon Marguerite McDiarmid
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon McDiarmid on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the age of 70 years.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents Orville and Gwendolyn McDiarmid, an infant brother Kevin and a nephew Kevin. Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, William (Gail), Marilyn (Terry), Cameron (Jennifer) and Marlyss (Dean).
Sharon will also be remembered by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Ryan ( Laura-Ann) (Rowan, Brooks); Tyler (Stephanie)(Finley, Archer); Nikki ( Luke) (Joel, Dexter, Quentin); Ali (Matt ); Kathleen ( Joseph) (Guinevere, Sophine); Cameron; Derrick ( Mandy) (Hunter, Henry); and Karmen (Nick) (Kolton, Aubrey).
Sharon grew up and spent most of her adult life in Sherwood Park. She enjoyed a long successful career working at AGT/TELUS. She liked new cars, gardening and spending time with the family. Sharon spent the past few years in Sherwood Care after a dementia diagnosis.
The family would like to thank Sherwood Care for the compassion and excellent care given to Sharon over the years. There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date
I express my deepest condolences during this time of great sorrow. The Bible gives a very comforting hope that your loved one will come to life again on a peaceful paradise earth when death will be no more in John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15.
