Sharon Elizabeth Nault
Sharon (mom) was born in Edmonton on July 12, 1941 to Belva and Jack Sumner. They lived in Governor Community and that is where she met her life partner of 63 years, Earle.
They were married on August 15, 1959 and four children followed shortly after (Yvette, Cathy, Andre and Jean)
Mom was an exceptional mother and wife and truly gave all to her family. She volunteered her time not only to her church, but also to Dad’s. New hand sewn outfits were always prepared for Easter and Klondike Days. In her later years, she became a travel consultant and she and dad enjoyed more opportunity to travel frequently as a result.
Regrettably, dementia robbed Sharon of her abilities and spirit over the last eight years, but she ought a hard battle right up until the end. Her loss is profound, her laugh, wit, and guidance will be missed.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Sharon on Thursday October 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Parish, 8 St Clair Street in Devon, AB. Burial will follow at Peace Cemetery, also in Devon, and then the family invites you to a time of fellowship and refreshments back at the church hall.
