Ronald Stroud
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Charles Stroud of Edmonton. He passed peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 27th at the age of 81yrs surrounded by his family. Ron came to Edmonton in 1965 to start his career with AGT which lasted 28yrs until his retirement in 1993. Once retired, Ron filled his days with his favourite hobbies that included home renovations, playing guitar and honing his woodworking skills and he happily shared his creations with his many family and friends. When Ron wasn’t at home, he could be found enjoying his time camping and fishing with friends and family, wintering in Mexico and Hawaii or cruising with his wife Lynda. Ron will be fondly remembered for his easy smile, amazing sense of humor and willingness to help his family and friends whenever he was needed.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 62 yrs Lynda, his sons Brent (Jody) and Darren (Ute). His Grandsons Ramon and Brendon (Tristen) and his great grandchildren Greyson and Wynter. At the request of the family, there will not be a service. If you would like to pay tribute to Ron, please plant a tree in his honor.
