It is with saddened hearts that our family announces the passing of Romeo Bertin on July 1st, 2016 at the age of 70.

He was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick to Stella and Peter Bertin on May 5th 1946.

Left to carry on his memory are his children, Jennie (Casey), Steven (Monique) and three grandchildren; Brandon, Hailey and Tyler as well as many great friends who he loved and thought of as family.

Romeo was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He was an ironworker at C.W. Carry for 21 years until he had to retire in 2000. He never slowed down though and always found a way to keep busy.

He was strong and brave right until the end. We will all love and remember him, he was one of a kind and there will never be another to replace him in our hearts.

    I’m so sorry to hear of Romeo’s passing. He was a great guy and a person that was always there to help you. He will be sadly missed by everybody.

    Romeo was a kind hearted, generous person who was always quick to help someone in need. We had many laughs over the years .
    Jennie and Steven, I am so sorry you lost your dad. He will never be forgotten…he was one of a kind.
    RIP Romeo.

    Romeo was one of the good guys… I spent a lot of time with him over the years and I can definitely say we had a lot of good times as well as a lot of laughs.. I know I for one am going to miss him…. Jenny, Steven, I’m sorry for your loss but know that even though it hurts, he is in a much better place…..

    Sorry to hear about the passing of Romeo. He was a kind loving man who was always there to great you with a smile and hello everytime he saw you. My greatest condolences to his children and family.
