ROCKWELL, Zenovia (nee Makovichuk)
It is with a deep sadness that we lay our beloved Zenovia Rockwell to rest. She is remembered as the most generous, kind person who inspired gentleness in all who knew her. Zenovia was known for her bountiful garden and wonderful cooking. In retirement from ALCB, Zenovia enjoyed snowbird travel to Arizona and volunteer work with the Beverly Historical Society.
Zenovia is predeceased by her mother Ustena; father Marko; husband Lloyd; brother Walter and sister-in-law Ann. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother John (June); nieces Sherry and Denise (John); nephews Rob (Lee) and Art; and numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Vicaruddin and the staff and care team at Shepherd’s Care Foundation - Vanguard. A small private family service will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Edmonton Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
Dear Zen’s family and friends
Please accept my deepest condolences on her passing.
I remember her and Lloyd fondly from the days my parent’s owned the Shell service station in Spedden.. They had a lake lot at Garner Lake, and became good friends of my parent’s and the community. I still have the hurricane lamp that Lloyd and Zen gave me for my high school graduation, and it is sitting my spare bedroom.. Hold your memories close.. May she rest in peace, as she is reunited with Lloyd and her family.
