Robert Edward Rossal

Robert Rossal, a beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2023.

Bobby grew up on the family homestead near Drake, Saskatchewan.

Later in life he settled in Alberta where he proudly worked at Elk Island National Park for 30 years.

Bobby will be remembered as someone who had a great appreciation for the simple things in life. He was a man of few words, but a big heart full of love for animals,old-time country music and family.

Bobby and his youngest brother were especially close. Often in the summer Bobby could be found sitting on Willie’s front step enjoying the sun and talking about the weather.  He enjoyed his sister-in-law’s (Beverly) delicious home cooked meals. Bobby always had a twinkle in his eyes when he spoke of his nieces and nephews.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents Rudolf and Alice Rossal, his wife Paulette.

He is survived by his brothers Gilbert Rossal, Willie (Beverly) Rossal, his nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nephew.

Bobby was deeply loved. He was a great role model and a true friend.

Memories of his gentle soul will live on in our hearts forever.
