Rick is survived by: his son Bryan; his Mother Dorothy Kessler, sister Galena (Ivan) Blazevic, brothers: Phil (Angela) Plummer, Rob Kessler, Jay Kessler and Glenn Kessler; 13 nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces and nephews, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Rick was predeceased by his brother Bryan and father Doug.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Rick. He was a truly talented individual who had so much potential. It’s heartbreaking to think that he didn’t receive the help he needed, and it pains me to know that his journey was so difficult. Despite everything, he left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him. I and many others always believed in him and wished he could see the incredible person he was. My heart goes out to you and your family during this incredibly tough time. May you find peace and comfort in the memories you shared.
My heart is broken. We will miss you so much Rick. You have been a fantastic brother and I have so many great memories of you and I will cherish all of them. . Your smile always brightened my day. Love you always!

It was heart breaking to hear, it had been quite some time since i last spoke to him but he was always someone i thought of and came up in memories that always made me smile. Rick had a heart of gold always treated me like family as did all of his family and the memories we had together i will always cherish. My Heart goes out to all the family sending lots of love and hugs.

I had not seen Rick for several years, my memories from when I saw him, he was always so nice and very friendly, I know he will be greatly missed by soo many.
