Please accept my sincere condolences. Peter was always very kind to me. He shared his vast experience freely with junior counsel. He will be missed.
I remember Peter well and I am saddened by this news . I was a young lawyer and I had the ability to observe him in court and was impressed by his advocacy skills. He was always willing to share his knowledge. He was a true gentleman. We spoke often and he told me about his Parkinson’s several years ago. I thought he was very brave in how he dealt with it all.
Condolences to the Newton family, and may my talented and principled classmate at Mount Allison University rest in peace.
