Primrose (Bunty) Ann Ray

It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of Primrose (Bunty) Ann Ray on February 9, 2022 at the age of 80.

Primrose was born April 8, 1941 in Worthing West Sussex England to her parents. Shortly after her birth her family immigrated to Canada in the 1940’s. Where she grew up and attended school in Edmonton. Following her schooling she proudly worked at Canada Post as well as Tim Hortons where she worked until her retirement. In her spare time she enjoyed cross stitch, playing bingo, and catching up with family & friends over coffee or tea. 

She is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her children Brenda, Barry (Debora), Don Jr, Darin (Matthew). As well as her 7 grandchildren Christopher (Sandra), Michelle (Keith), Ryan, Kaylee, Jordan, Cameron & Niko. And her 4 great grandchildren Hannah, Wilhelm, Avery & Jack. As well as her sisters, Pamela, Barb, and Paulette.

Primrose was predeceased by her loving husband Donald and Son In-Law Hanno.

Cremation has already taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date to be announced.

The family is grateful for the many heartfelt condolences they’ve received and would ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Primrose’s memory to the Alberta Lung Association.
