Patricia Anne Clemson

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia (Pat) Anne Clemson on April 27, 2024, at the age of 90 with her daughter and son-in-law by her bed.

Pat was born on February 6, 1934, to Florence and Harry Hill in Newton-in-Makerfield, Warrington, England. Pat married Peter Clemson on June 26, 1954, and during their 62 year marriage they lived in England, Canada, the USA, back to England, Northern Ireland, and South Africa before settling in Edmonton, Canada in 1998 to be close to their daughter Anna and her family. Pat is survived by her two children – Anna (Neil Ellert), Christopher (Kath); five grandchildren, Paul and James Ellert, Cailin, Campbell and Brenna Clemson; her sister Kathleen Fitzgerald (née Hill) and her two nieces and nephew.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter Clemson, father Harry Hill, mother Florence (née Holmes), brother-in-law Brian Fitzgerald and nephew Adrian Fitzgerald.

Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Much gratitude is sent to all the staff on the second floor of the Good Samaritan Society, Southgate who loved and cared for her during the final 6 years of her life.
