Goodbye Mummy. You were always there for me whenever I needed a mother’s love and advice. You were an awesome Mum to 4 sons and ‘Nana’ to the many grands and great grands that you helped us raise.
Also a great Foster Parent.
I will always love you. Thank you for giving so much of your love and wonderful hugs.
B.C. Summers will never be the same.
On behalf of Pathways I would like to offer our sincerest condolences to the entire Gane Family. Having known Pamela for more than 15 years, her dedication and commitment to children was unwavering. She became a foster parent in 1995 and very quickly gained the reputation as the “baby whisperer”. She had a knack for caring for those little ones that was unrivaled. Never afraid to speak her mind, she was a strong advocate for those who had no voice. Her adventures here with Anne Marie are legendary and we wish to send our thoughts her way as well. For Jordan, we are just so sorry for your loss and are thinking about you. We will miss her sassy spunk and style, and there is no one that can “rock” a pair of heels like she could!
In sympathy,
Michelle Meadahl

It is my prayer that the family finds comfort in keeping Pamela’s memories alive. She was such an inspiration and fund to be around. She was so full of energy and had such as sense of humor that whenever we met, I always left her house with a smile. Rest in peace Pamela. May your family and friends find peace by keep your legacy and memories alive

I would like to add my sincere condolences to the Gane Family, Anne Marie, and to Jordie. I had the pleasure of working with several members of the Gane Family through Pathways Family Services. Pamela’s devotion to children in need was strong and it was evident throughout her entire family. I smile every time I think of this little dynamo of a lady who was able to take charge and advocate for all the children that passed through her doors. She was fearless when it came to caring for, and protecting her babies. Not once did she ever complain about the 2 A.M. feedings or the endless diaper changes. I believe she holds the agency record for “potty training” the most children. She was witty and funny and full of life. Always a fashionista in a skirt with a pair of heels. I was always a little happier after spending time with her. She has left a wonderful legacy with Pathways and will be fondly remembered for many years to come.
My thoughts and prayers are with Pamela and her family
