Omer Joseph Brassard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Omer Brassard on February 7, 2024.

Omer was born in Morinville, AB on April 12, 1936, to Adjutor and Berthe (Lavigne) Brassard.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 52 years, Claudette; daughters, Terry Ann (Trevor) Barker and Monique (Darin) Bachmier; granddaughters: Ashlee (Joel), Katie, Makaela, McKenna and Hailey; Sisters: Madelene (Lanky) Desjardin, Cecile Busse, Marilda Boissonnault, Rita Kraft and Simone Riopel; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

He was predeceased by his parents; brothers Hector and Ralph; sisters Therese Tailleur, and Florence Boissonnault; nephew Michael, niece, Lori and Louise

Omer will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family and many friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Vital Catholic Church at 4905 – 50 th Street, Beaumont, AB on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of one’s choice.
