It brings me great sadness to have to write this letter. I’m heart broken to hear of Uncle Oliver’s passing. He was such a wonderful man. So intelligent and thoughtful, quiet and soft spoken, yet funny too. I’m sure he could have made anyone smile. 😊 His laugh was infectious! I can still hear it now. Even though we lived so far apart I am thankful that we got to spend a little time together over the years. Still to this day whenever I see someone asking for extra pepper I think of Uncle Oliver. I’m sure he used more pepper in 1 year than I have used in my 40 years LOL!
I’m thinking of you all and wish I could be there with you. There’s something soothing in a loving hug and I wish I could give you one now. Even though times are tough right now, time heals all wounds – even broken hearts. I hope and pray that you only remember the good times that you shared and the legacy that he left behind. We will see him again someday. God speed that day.
With love and deepest sympathy,
Nora, Lyndon and family. Xoxo
