Hardworking Norm loved to travel with Sherry to Varadero Cuba twice a year. Enjoying every minute with Cuba friends and the Caribbean. Traveled to Mexico, Dominican Republic, Punta Cana and Miami, but he loved Varadero Cuba the best!
He loved his back garden, he could sit quietly watching his birds, squirrels and nature, swinging in his egg basket chair, drinking a beer!
A Celebration of Life will be held for close family & friends at the Gibson residence in Spring of 2024.
Norm worked with three generations of the Corser family in our Edson based forest products businesses. He had a genius level IQ and was a heavy duty mechanic who had an intimate understanding of machinery. He was key to the success of Yellowhead Wood Products. Norm’s sudden passing was a shock to us all and we dearly miss him. We expected him to overcome his health challenges and be back on the job. He shared his knowledge freely. His sense of humor was marvelous. He was literally one in a million.
