Nick Petraschuk

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a beloved father, gido & big gido, Nick Petraschuk.

Born on June 9, 1928 in the Shalka region of Alberta, Nick lived a long, full life and passed away at the age of 96 years. Though he was known to be a quiet man, he had a great sense of humor that shone through in the small moments spent with his immediate and extended family. He was extremely proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be remembered for his strength, wit and kind heart. He will be missed by all who knew & loved him.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Tilly), children Gary (Belinda), Lonny (Melanie), Kathy (Dan), Leslie (Lori), and Kelly.

Left to cherish his memory are 9 grandchildren - Jamie (Victoria), Brittany (Patrick), Lisa (Ashlee), Naomi, Jessica (Cole), Michael (Corinne), Paige, Sarah (Sean) and Ryan (Danielle) and 5 great-grandchildren - Radek, Sophie, Payce, Margot and Addison.

A Memorial service to celebrate his life will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 10:30 am at Trinity Funeral Home - 10530-116 Street Edmonton, Alberta
