Neal Kent Schneider

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Neal Kent Schneider of Edmonton, on February 28, 2025, at the age of 63 years, as a result of heart and liver complications.

Born November 17, 1961, at the General Hospital, to Gladys and Jacob Schneider (predeceased) and two older sisters, one (Connie) predeceased. he is survived by many precious relatives. These include his wife Laura, his son Jacob, his sister Sharon (Selwyn), his mother-in-law Teresa, his sister-in-law Graziella, and numerous nieces and nephews (Rohana (Conley), Amanda (Mike), Anthony (Alvina), Sharon (Paul), Erron, Ridehl (Scott), and David). A special acknowledgement to Dennis and David, his "adopted" sons, and to the extended relatives, families, friends, and work colleagues of Laura, Neal and Jacob, for all their warmth and kindness during this difficult time; and to the ICU physicians, nurses and other Misericordia Hospital staff for all the attention provided to Neal while in their care. The family is thankful and grateful for everybody's support.

A memorial service for Neal is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Trinity Funeral Home (10530 116 Street, Edmonton) -- the viewing is at 9:15 AM, followed by Funeral Service in the chapel at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to an animal rescue or homeless shelter, on behalf of Neal, would be appreciated.
