Dearest Marcie – When we had the privilege of attending your beautiful wedding, we never imagined the deep, dark valley you and Nathan would travel through. We were thrilled with the birth of your three J’s, and rejoiced with the grandparents as we shared their “Brag Books”. God had blessed you enormously as a family.
Then came Cancer. We understand the anger, the denial, the exhaustion you are now experiencing. So we are praying faithfully. We are praying that your faith in your Heavenly Father will be renewed – Faith to believe without a shadow of doubt that Nathan is with Jesus, free from all suffering – Faith to believe that God loves each of you and will walk through this cruel time of suffering – Faith to believe that you have not said the final good-bye, but that you will see Nathan again in a better place. Finally, we are praying that you will experience that peace that surpasses all human understanding, and that you will be tightly wrapped in God’s love.
Love always
Margaret and Bill Griffin
