Murray Wilson Brown
Murray Wilson Brown, age 78, in Edmonton, Alberta, passed away Sunday January 23, 2022 at the Grey Nuns Hospital due to pneumonia. After a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, he passed peacefully in his sleep.
Murray was born in December 28, 1943 to George and Marion Brown in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. After Murray graduated from Central Collegiate in 1961 he went on to study at the University of Saskatchewan. He graduated in 1965 with a degree in Commerce with Great Distinction. In 1970 Murray received his MBA from the University of Alberta. He had a long career in both residential and commercial real estate. Murray spent countless hours volunteering for Scouts, minor hockey and soccer.
Murray is survived by his two sons Garnet Wesley Brown and Derek Nelson Brown; and the mother of his children Carole-Anne Brown.
Due to COVID there will not be a service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Good Samaritan Southgate Long Term Care centre in Edmonton where Murray lived for five years. We appreciate the love and care he received there from the nurses and staff.
