Mr Jean ‘John’ Marie Lefebvre
Jean Marie Lefebvre, 69 years old of St Albert passed away at the Citadel July 14, 2023 after a long battle with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. He was with loving family, friends and the incredible staff at the Citadel. He will now go to be with his Lord.
Jean was known as John. His love was helping and being around family and friends whenever he could. John had a great sense of humour and enjoyed laughing with the people around him. He liked to watch sports and any good comedy. John was an amazing cook. His greatest creation is spaghetti surprise (one of the best things ever). His most memorable holiday was Hawaii with his cousin Andy. He enjoyed the visits of family and friends at the Citadel. Jean would talk about the visits he would have, and they meant so much to him. He loved the special suppers his Mom would make and the treats his niece Natasha would make. What John enjoyed most was the regular visits from his niece and Godchild Brittni Shelswell.
Jean was predeceased by his father Leo Lefebvre, brothers Laurent and Pierre and sister-in-law Lorna Lefebvre.
Jean will be deeply missed by Mother Germaine Lefebvre; brothers Richard, Laurent (Dawna), Luc (Virgina) and Pierre (Catherine); sisters Beatrice, Laurence (Neil) and Marianne (Bob), 16 nephews, 16 nieces, 10 great-nephews, 9 great-nieces, uncles, aunties, cousins, and friends.
Our family would like to thank the staff at the Citadel for the care and friendship for Jean over the years.
There will be a small, private service held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers John has asked that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
So sorry for your loss. John will be missed. I will always remember all his visits to Fort Kent. He had a big heart.
So very sorry to all the Lefebvre family as you grieve the loss of John. Most sincere condolences to you All ❤️
