Although I only knew Michael from the car business, he was always respectful and kind towards me. I was sad to hear of his passing so please accept my deepest condolences to his family. May he now Rest In Peace.
It was only in the last 2 years of his life that we became acquainted with Michele. Our group were sympathetic with his life’s circumstances as many of us had been confronted by the same tribulations. We tried to be a 2nd family to him, to be supportive and non-judgemental, to be confidantes that’s he could trust, and to show him he was a good and worthwhile person. We watched in dismay as his condition was identified as cancer. We hoped and prayed that a cure or, at least, a remission would ease his suffering. He fought with every ounce of strength to hold on to his life…but God had other plans. One of our group passed on just a couple of month’s before. When all hope was gone, he accepted the end of this life and returned more prayerfully to his lifelong faith. The remaining members of our little group have missed Mikey, but we know he is peaceful and not suffering…safe in the all-encompassing Love of God.
