I cannot recall the first time I met Mike. If I were to guess, it would have been 40 or more years ago. We were probably sent to the same course in Cornwall. I can almost picture him with a smirk, waiting to make a wry comment. In a way it troubles me that I don’t have that first memory anymore, but I am also reminded of the many memories since then. He was a good colleague, good friend and good person. His presence enriched our lives. I am saddened by his passing, but also glad for having known him.
Thinking of you all during this difficult time. May faith, family & friends bring you comfort & peace.
In heartfelt memory of Mike, someone who brought a smile to every occasion, may he find Eternal Salvation with Our Lord.
