Metro Watamaniuk
Peacefully, Metro Watamaniuk passed away February 21, 2020 in Red Deer Hospital surrounded by family.
Metro was born on June 18 1943, in Bellis, Alberta, the son of Mary and Peter Watamaniuk and was the youngest of 5 siblings.
He retired November 1, 2006 at the age of 62 after 40 years as a nurse at the Stettler General Hospital. Metro enjoyed his retirement hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.
Metro will be lovingly remembered by his wife Patricia; sons Melvin, Myron and Justin; Spouses, Jeannette, Christy and Susan; grandchildren, Jason, Stuart, Danica, Kai and Ellie; extended family and friends.

Dear Patricia and family,
Please accept our condolences to you on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I, Gene, went to Warpsite School with Metro and he was an outstanding person and he will be greatly missed by all of you and his loss to us is a milestone in our lives. His loss will be placated by time and by the Lord’s blessing and healing.
