Maurie Jeanette Hallam
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maurie Jeanette Hallam.
Maurie will be remembered lovingly by her partner John and deeply missed by her children Scott (Carmen), Stephen (Renee) and Lindsay (Jason), 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as her mother, Margaret and sisters, Lynne (Dave) and Laurie and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Maurie was well known for her knitting, cruising, and love for her grandchildren. She always gave to others before herself. Her smile and laugh will be missed. We hope she dances in the sky and hugs her father, who predeceased her 5 years ago.
She was such a fighter with multiple cancers throughout her life, including Stage 4 Brain Cancer that she lost the battle with. Her daughter by her side the entire journey the last 9 months.
Due to restrictions, a celebration of life will be held in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada.
