Maurice Howard "Robin" Monk
Maurice Howard “Robin” Monk passed away peacefully on March 6, 2015 at the age of 77.
Robin was born on September 14, 1937 in Worcester, England to Maurice and Kate Monk. He married Jennifer Robilliard in 1958. Robin drove trucks and buses in England before he and Jennifer immigrated to Canada with their three young daughters in 1968. After moving to Canada, the Monk’s welcomed a fourth daughter. Robin continued to drive buses and trucks until starting his own shuttle service in Stony Plain, AB. Robin is survived by his wife Jennifer; daughters, Sally (Jim) Meharg, Dawn (Terry) Piggott, Rose (Vern) McAllister, and Brenda Funk; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends in Canada and England. He is predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Kate Monk; brother, Bill Monk; son-in-law, Clint Funk; and other family and friends.

sorry for your loss, robin was a wonderful man and he especially made my life easier after my accident. His sense of humour and caring was truly heart warming.
