Matthew John Didyk
Matthew John Didyk of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2024 at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
A celebration of life will be held on October 5, 2024 at the Garrick Hall in Garrick Saskatchewan at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to his daughter Raina Didyk. E-transfer can be sent to janelle_19@hotmail.com.
Matthew loved all sports, but his favourite sport was hockey and he was an active hockey player until his accident in 2014. Matthew loved to talk about sports with family and friends. He was known for his infectious laugh, sense of humour and kindred spirit. His proudest accomplishment was his baby girl Raina Jessie born in 2016.
Matthew was predeceased by his infant brother Jessie Didyk, grandfather Arthur Lessard and grandmother Madeline Didyk Wlock.
He is survived by his daughter Raina Jessie Didyk of Millet, AB; mother Lorilee Lessard of Thunder Bay, ON; father Ken Didyk of Saskatoon, SK; brother Brandon (Janelle) Didyk of Nipawin, SK; nephew Mason, and half-siblings Axel and Ebony Didyk of Saskatoon, SK; grandmother Delores Lessard of Meota, SK; grandfather Ernie Wlock of Saskatoon, SK, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Matthew will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Matthew was introduced into our lives 9yrs ago and he was such an inspiration to us with such a great out look on his future! A year later he gave us our angel granddaughter. A daughter he loves more than the world! Forever he will be in our hearts & minds as we watch his angel grow up & make her daddy proud! We know you are at peace and protecting the ones you love!
