Marilyn Hjelm
February 11, 1939 - September 20, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Marilyn Hjelm on September 20, 2024 at the age of 85 years.
She leaves behind sisters Vi and Fran; her friends and loving children Russell, Stephen, and Lanis (Ken); her precious grandchildren Devon (Brendan), Christina (Kevin), Matthew (Molly), Tina (Braeden), Mike (Rhea), and Amber; along with her beautiful great-grandchildren Piper, Samuel, Lennon, Soren, Lenley, and Nava.
Mom is predeceased by her husband Wilf, brother Jerry and sisters Iris and Marcy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

If you’re lucky, sometime in your lifetime, you meet someone who changes your life forever, who makes you happier, more joyful and you become great friends and live life to the fullest. For me that someone was Marilyn, I’m sure I’m only one of many that she brought joy to. I treasure our memories. My condolences to Lanis, Russell, Steven and all your families. Love Betty

If you’re lucky, sometimes in your lifetime, you meet someone who changes your life forever, who make your life happier, more joyful and you become great friends, and live life to the fullest. For me that was Marilyn. We had so many fun years together. Wishing you a pleasant journey to heaven.
