Maria Eduarda Martins

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria Eduarda Martins (née Correia) on June 27, 2024, at the age of 79. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Her suffering has ended, and she is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Angelina and Manuel, and her brother, Daniel.

Maria is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Norberto; her children, Bobby, Steve (Karen), and Nancy (Jerrod); her grandson, Xavier; and her siblings, Ilda (Joe), Joe (Maria), Maria (John), Manuel (Susan), James (Carmita), Tony (Linda), and Carlos (Vicki).

Maria was a devoted wife and mother who selflessly dedicated her life to her family, creating a home filled with love and care. Her greatest joy was her children, whom she loved nurturing, guiding, and celebrating every milestone and achievement. Maria also took immense pride in her grandson; whose presence always brought her joy. Her faith was a guiding light, providing her with the strength and wisdom to support and nurture her loved ones.

Maria will be remembered not only for her boundless love but also for her incredible strength and tenacity, which stayed with her until the end. Her unwavering spirit and steadfast dedication to her family are the legacies she leaves behind.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the wonderful care workers at Dickinsfield Continuing Care Facility.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
