Maria Alzira Cordeiro
Surrounded by her loving family, Maria Alzira Cordeiro of Edmonton passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023 at the age of 94 years.
She is survived by her loving children: João (Maria), Alzira (Shameer), Lucy (Marcus), Reverend Jose Cabral, Linda (Colin) and Isabel (Terry); seven grandchildren: Kathy (Ray), Rachel (Matthew), Sheena, Christina (Dustin), Andre (Natalia), Spencer (Madison) and Jesse (Rebeka); five great-grandchildren: Kaiya, Kobe, Carter, Cruz and Tage; her sister Maria dos Anjos as well as many relatives and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Jose in 2017, her infant daughter Maria Alzira, her grandson Ivan; five brothers and two sisters.
Our Family wishes to extend a special Thank-you to the staff on the second floor of both care facilities, Shepherd's Care Vanguard and Venta Care Centre, for the compassionate and tender care they provided to our mother during the last stages of her life.
