MARGARET GIRARD (STANILAND)
It is with sadness that the family of Margaret Girard announce her passing on Friday, 05 May, 2023 at the age of 92.
Margaret leaves behind her daughter, Juliet Girard; son George (Giovanna) Girard; grandchildren Timothy (Rizza) Girard; Elisa (Tony) Aboudiwan & Sabrina Girard; great grandson Connor Girard and one sister, Joan Watt of Nanaimo, British Columbia.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Maud and George Staniland and sisters, Mary Williams, Kathleen Nicol and Betty Bassani.
Margaret had a strong faith and spent much of her time reading her bible. She was able to participate in weekly phone meetings, which she enjoyed immensely.
A very special thank you to the staff at Extendicare Eaux Claires for providing our mother with everything she requested, especially to Brian, her favorite nurse, who had been with Margaret since it opened in December 2010.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, 20 May at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness on 5003 121 Avenue, all are welcome to attend or can view by Zoom (Zoom info ID:7804714115 Passcode: 1930)

Louie and I are so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. We will miss seeing you and Giovanna coming by to see her. May she Rest In Peace.
