Madelene DesJardins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Madelene Florence DesJardins on September 20, 2024.

Madelene was born in Leduc, AB on August 13, 1929, to Adjutor and Berthe (Lavigne) Brassard. She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Aurele (Lanky) DesJardins; daughter Deanne (Paul) Riopel and son Charles (SheriLyn) DesJardins; granddaughters, Nadine (Glynn), Colette (Bruno) and Michelle; grandsons, Derek (Ashley), Reece (Kristy) and Sean (Haley); sisters Cecile Busse, Marilda Boissonnault, Rita Kraft and Simone Riopel; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

She was predeceased by her son Den DesJardins; her parents; brothers Hector, Omer and Ralph Brassard; sisters Therese Tailleur and Florence Boissonnault.

Madelene will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
