Lynnette Faye Millions
It is with sadness that we announce that Lynnette Millions (nee Corscadden) died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on November 29, 2024, after a nearly 2-year battle with cancer.
Lynnette was born in Edmonton to Marguerite and William Corscadden. She graduated from Jasper Place Composite High School and worked for an accounting firm in Edmonton and for her family business, retiring in 2018.
Lynnette enjoyed camping and travelling with family and friends and loved walking the beautiful Edmonton trails and parks. Lynnette enjoyed playing cards, hosting family holiday parties, getting coffees and lunches with friends, as well as crafting (especially sewing and crocheting). She donated many crocheted and quilted items over the years.
Lynnette was predeceased by her parents, brother Clifford and brother-in-law Brian Zawierucha. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Trevor Millions, daughter Terra Millions, granddaughter Ayla Masse, and son Devin (Lisa) Millions. She is also survived by her sisters Frances (“Francie”) Zawierucha; Nola (Bob) Balfour; brother Rick (Barb) Corscadden; sister-in-law Sandra (Barry) Shaw; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cross Cancer Institute (albertacancer.ca) or the Alzheimer Research Program (alzheimer.ca) would be appreciated.
I am sad to hear of Lynnette’s passing. My deepest condolences to you Trevor, Terra and Devin. Take solace in knowing she is now at rest.
I am saddened to hear of Lynnette’s passing. I have many fond memories of our youth together – we were Brownies together and her mother was our leader. Our families shared many good times together and although we lost touch as we got older and our lives changed, I will always treasure those times. The Landons and Corscaddens shared many years of fun and friendship. To Francie, Rick and Nola – our sincere thoughts are with you.
