Lorraine Mary (Hazzard) Forester

Lorraine Mary Forester, a beloved resident of Westlock, Alberta, passed away on January 18, 2025, surrounded by her children and comforted by her favourite music. Born on August 29, 1949, in Westlock, Alberta.

Lorraine spent the majority of her life in Westlock. She dedicated over three decades to her career at Drayden Insurance before retiring at the age of 70. Her work ethic and commitment left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.

Lorraine found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a passion for gardening, where she cultivated beauty and tranquility. She also enjoyed researching family history, cherishing the connections that tied generations together. Time spent with friends and family brought her immense happiness, especially moments shared with her children and grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Lesley Forester (Mark Schimanke), Jodi Prazak (Terry Prazak), and Cliff Forester; as well as her cherished grandchildren Maxx Prazak and Cole Prazak. Lorraine also leaves behind her niece Stacey Ashton and Stacey’s children Payton and Tegin; her nephews Scott Ashton, Travis and Jarrett Claeys, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Lorraine’s warmth, dedication to family, and love for life will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched throughout her remarkable journey.
