Lina Fodchuk (nee Roppo)
August 21, 1964 - June 18, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lina Fodchuk (nee Roppo) at the age of 55 on June 18th, 2020.
Beloved wife, mother, nana, as well as daughter, sister and zia, Lina will be warmly remembered and missed by her loving husband Richard; sons: Joshua and Ryan (Eva); granddaughter Sophia; her father Salvatore Roppo, brother Michele (Fleur) and sister Maria (Leonard); three nieces: Layla, Gina and Olivia; six nephews: Clayton, Paolo, Spencer, Justin, Jaden and Chance. Lina also leaves behind her life long friend Teresa, her father-in-law, William; her sister-in-law Jill and brothers-in-law, Geordie and Jason (Madeline).
Lina was predeceased by her mother Matilde.
She leaves the legacy of her larger than life personality, love, and caring in all of us. She will be truly missed and loved forever. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.

I remember in 1992 we travelled to Edmonton for Leonard and Maria’s wedding. Lina and Rick welcomed us Newfoundland visitors at their home for the duration of our stay…their warm hospitality has never been forgotten. The whole Roppo family hospitality will never be forgotten. I remember Matilde always saying “mange, mange”(not sure of spelling)at the many family gatherings. Lina and her Mom are flying with the angels. God bless you all. hugs to you! xo

It was so nice to spend time together laughing and reminiscing at the “Roppo” reunions, and that we were able to connect, laugh and love one another. I will miss you Lina, but take comfort knowing you are with your heavenly Father and your mom.

We were so saddened by the news of Linas passing,, our hearts go out to the Fodchuk Family and Linas Family. Our hearts are just breaking. She was an angel that walked among us.
