Lillian Alice McKinders
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Lillian Alice McKinders at the age of 76 years. After a courageous battle with cancer, she went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2013.
Lillian was born on the family farm just outside of Raymore, Saskatchewan on March 24, 1936. She met her soon to be husband of 53 years Harry, in 1958 and they married on September 5th, 1959.
She spent her life creating beauty through her love of flowers, gardening and floristry. She was a florist most of her life and loved working with flowers (especially her prized orchids). Her garden, plants, and trees were the envy of all that laid eyes on them.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Harry, and their two children: Michele (Neil Weldon), Michael (Jennifer), her grandson Joshua, siblings Frank Denman, Ed (& Liz) Denman, Bernice Hanson (VMel Hanson) and numerous other friends and relatives. She was predeceased by Mary and Harry Denman.
