Leonard Isidore Belcourt

April 13, 1936 – February 17, 2017

Leonard Isidore Belcourt passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2017 in Edmonton at the age of 80.

Len is survived by his loving wife Linda, his first wife Lila, his children, Bradley (Clare), of Cochrane, Jeffrey (Gus) of Camrose, Clinton (Glenda) of Calgary, his stepchildren, Darren (Joanne), of Chestemere, Ken (Lori), of Edmonton, his brothers and sisters, Hugh, Lloyd, Lucy, Susie, Muriel, Bob and Pauline. Len’s smile could not have been brighter than when he would see his grandchildren, Marzena, Dustin, Taylor, Daisa, Madison, Reilly, Braden, Tanner, Cody, Caden, Brooklyn, and Zachary and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Caitlyn, and Ryder.

Leonard is predeceased by two children Lenna and Barkley; his parents, Mary and Isidore; brothers, Joe, Irvine and George.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre – Unit 9Y Palliative Care where Len spent his last days. Doctor Clark and Doctor Gilbert along with the nursing staff showed unwavering compassion, support and care throughout his journey.
