Leona Ella Woloschuk
Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.
It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of our sweet & loving dear wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother.
Leona passed away, peacefully at the Lynwood Nursing Home, at the age of 87 years.
Lee as she was called, will be forever missed by husband, Carl of 55 years, daughter's Debbie (Murray), Gale (Mark), sons Lyle (Vivian), James (Michelle), grandchildren Jason (Oneyda), Leanne; Benjamin, Dakota, Mackenzie, great-grand-children Daniel, Angie, number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Otto and Rosalie Emann, brother Harvey.
Lee's love of life was very evident, love of travel took her to 29 countries. Skating at WEM for 30 years, camping, interior decorating, buying & renovating houses and gardening.
She also loved to entertain, cook suppers every Christmas for her church group. Her love of clothes, coordinating every piece with care. Her love of life was very contagious.

A sweet gem that was full of life. Vangie and I have cherished our times together. Carl, Debbie, Gale, Lyle, and James – we are praying that God will be with you and keep you during this time.
Lee was a very sweet lady. I had the privilege of getting to know her at West Edmonton Mall Ice Palace as we skated around visiting. We all miss her so much. To the family and friends – May the happy memories you have of spending time with Lee help to heal your broken hearts.
I had the pleasure of skating with Lee at WEM and always thought that she always looked and spoke like a real “lady”! She will be missed, but past treasured memories will be most helpful in time to come.
So very sad to lose this beautiful soul.
Lee and I became good friends when I arrived in Edmonton almost 30 years ago.
We spent many wonderful times together and i will miss her. I see things every day that remind me of her.
Take consolation in the many memories she has left us with.
My consolations to Carl and all the family.
Carl my deepest condolences to you and your family during this very difficult time. We had the pleasure of enjoying a few dinners over the past few years with you and Lee. We we always cherish those times and Lee will not be forgotten she was a beautiful person and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Lloyd and I send our heartfelt sympathy to you Carl and your family.
We loved Leona, as we called her and will truly miss her.

Andrew and I send our sincere condolences to the woloschuk family.
Carl and Family, please accept our deepest condolences on Lee’s passing. I got to know Lee when she worked at your place of business. You have to remember all the good times that you had together to help you get over this very trying time. Help each other when the sorrows get very bad and laugh when you remember who spilled the red nail polish on the bedroom rug in your new house on 50th Street.
I first met Lee 30 years ago when I started skating with the Seniors at WEM. And what a wonderful friend she became. She was beautiful, kind, had a wonderful sense of humor, was a great story teller and loved exploring and we spent many happy hours trying out new dress shops and restaurants in the city and beyond.
Deepest condolences to Carl and the family.
Dale, Joslyn and family send our deepest condolences, to you Carl and your entire family. We will miss seeing her yearly at the suppers, from work.
