Kenneth ‘Sir’ Delaney Marks
It is with deep sadness that the family of Kenneth ‘Sir’ Delaney Marks, announce his peaceful passing on October 8, 2018, at the age of 95, with his family by his side.
Predeceased by his brother Arnold Marks, Kenneth is survived by Mary, his wife of 66 years, children Bramwell (Agnes) Marks, Claudette (David) Fraser, Claude (Cheryl) Marks, Patricia Hinds, Rawle Marks
(Sharon), Colin (Winifred) Marks, Hewley Marks (Shaundell) and Hilaire (Cressida) Marks, 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, niece Lynnette Thomas as well numerous relatives, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Please join Kenneth’s family to celebrate his life, on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10:00 am with a public visitation being held at 9:00 am at Concordia Lutheran Church, 5420 19A Avenue, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, 14925 111 Avenue, in Kenneth’s name.
A special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital and Villa Caritas for the excellent care given to Kenneth during his stays.
My sincere condolences to the family of Mr Marks. May his soul rest in eternal peace and his legacy live on, through his children and the many heart’s he has touched, during his career as an Educator.
