Kenneth Edward Wilson
It is with great sadness that the family of Ken announce his passing on Friday October 06, 2023 at the age of 88. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Fay, 2 daughters Colleen(Tom) and Janet(Kimon), 2 sons Richard and Wayne, 6 grandchildren, Clinton, Nicole, Tyler, Kayla, Jessica and Andrew, and his 7 great grandchildren, Hayden, Addison, Cameron, Cassandra, Lucas, Olivia and Avery. He also leaves to mourn his loss, brother Roy(Wilma), and sister Lorraine, sister-in-law Arlene, and brothers-in-law Larry & John, numerous nieces & nephews and many close friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Ken Wilson, Violet Wilson & Ina Beasley, sisters Helen & Debbie, father & mother-in-law Barney & Ruby, brothers-in-law Bert, Larry & Kerry & sister-in-law Gloria.
Ken was born in Edmonton & resided there most of his life. He was in the RCAF from 1954 to 1957. The remainder of his time he spent working in sales until his retirement in 2001. Ken & Fay moved to Spruce Grove in 2002 where they remained until his death.
Ken enjoyed watching sports, going golfing and he made a lot of petite point pictures through the years.
Ken’s family would sincerely like to thank the Emergency Staff at the Misericordia Hospital for the amazing care he was given in his final hours.
As per Ken’s request there will be NO SERVICE.
He will be greatly missed, never forgotten and always loved.
Love you Uncle Ken. Rest in peace. Another great man went to see the lord. I have great memories of this man. Will be remembered.
